For John Deere’s unveiling of their two brand-new autonomous orchard tractors at CES 2025, we crafted a story that put real people at the center of innovation. Instead of just showcasing technology, we focused on the heart of farming—introducing audiences to Michael Russell, a tree nut farmer whose passion for his craft runs deep. In an emotional and compelling 2.5-minute edit, Russell shares how this technology will transform his farm—making his work more efficient while allowing him to focus on what he loves most. His hour-long interview was distilled into a powerful narrative, capturing both his dedication to farming and his excitement for the future. I served as Editor & Colorist, shaping the visuals and tone to bring out the raw emotion of his story. The piece debuted during John Deere’s press conference and was broadcast via livestream, garnering 35,000+ views and counting. At its core, this video wasn’t just about machinery—it was about progress, passion, and the future of farming.
